Hi there! My name is Prakruti, you can call me "Kruti".

I am a PhD student in the Planet and Star Formation (PSF) department at the Max Planck Institute for Astronomy (MPIA), Heidelberg, Germany. I am also a Fellow of the International Max Planck Research School for Astronomy and Cosmic Physics (IMPRS-HD).

I work on planet formation theory with Dr. Mario Flock (UFOS project), studying dust-gas dynamics of star-light heated protoplanetary disks– specifically, testing the effects of stellar irradiation on disk geometry using radiation hydrodynamics.
I also have ongoing collaborations on modeling circumbinary disks, pressureless dust fluids, gravitational instability, and streaming instability.

An updated list of all my publications can be found on the NASA ADS library or my ORCID. Find my full CV here.
